Scott’s Addition is where The Veil began — a production brewery and taproom carved out of a former church and an old office building that once belonged to the Central Coca-Cola bottling plant. We rebuilt it in 2023: 8,262 square feet, modern and industrial, with an expansive patio and a room designed to hold a crowd.
Over 40 draft lines pour beer, wine, cider, cocktails and cold brew, and the space breaks into four customizable layouts — the raised mezzanine, the back lounge of couches and armchairs, the Neon Room floor, or all of it at once. Take the corner that fits the night, or take the whole room.
The kitchen is Remedy Burger, two-time winner of Virginia Living’s ‘Best Burger Joint’, with a full menu and gluten-free, vegan and fully customizable catering.
Mezzanine
Raised above the main room, with booth seating, a large low-top table, and high-tops with chairs. Close enough to the room to feel part of it, set apart enough to be your own.

The softest corner of the Neon Room — three full couches, armchairs, and high-tops with chairs. Best for smaller gatherings that want somewhere to settle in.

FAQs
What's included with the room?
A complimentary half-hour for set-up and breakdown.
How do I hold the date?
A deposit equal to one hour of the rental fee. It is non-refundable and goes toward your final bill.
When do I need to book by?
Booking must be completed two weeks before the event.
Can we bring our own food or drink?
No outside food or drink, with one exception — desserts are welcome.
Can we book outside regular hours?
Yes. Inquiries are accepted for parties outside regular business hours, and additional fees may apply.
What about Saturdays?
Saturdays are typically unavailable. Exceptions may be made at elevated fees.
